2-Day vPAC Training Program
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the core components of Virtual Protection Automation and Control (vPAC), with this highly specific and hands-on in-person 2-day program, targeted at industry practitioners. Facilitate interactive sessions on vPAC testing, evaluation, and performance benchmarking with leading experts in the field. This training program is conducted at our Campbell CA campus and includes hands-on workshops conducted at the state-of-the-art Advanced Grid Automatic Technology Lab, supported by Intel Corp.
The program aims to provide knowledge necessary to navigate vPAC hardware, grasp the fundamentals of virtualization, containerization and gain insights into IEC 61850 Substation and communication. It will further explore VPR test tools, delving into IEC 61850 and VPR configuration, and various VPR testing methodologies, including real-time simulation and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing using RTDS. Participants will also engage in practical, hands-on training sessions to reinforce their understanding and implementation of VPR.
